In the past year alone, thousands of Alaskans rallied together under the banner of Save Our State to pressure their legislators to protect essential state services and call for a responsible budget. As a coalition of many organizations, Save Our State is a clearinghouse of information for Alaskans who share our values and want to make their voices heard.

When Governor Dunleavy introduced his FY20 budget in February of 2019, Save Our State formed as a coalition organizations with the shared goal of saving our state from a budget with un-Alaskan priorities. Together, we combined our forces to protect public education, the university, seniors, Alaskan jobs, public health, public safety, our ferries, and other essential state services that make our state a great place to live and raise our families.

Since then, our coalition has grown to include nearly 30 member organizations who come together under our shared banner to save our state.
